SCOUTING REPORT: Mike throws in the 87-91 range with a plus split finger fastball and a good change. Mike was an all star in the Great Lakes League last summer playing for the Grand Lakes Mariners.

Before Dayton: Was named first team All Greater Western Ohio Conference his senior year and second team all-conference his junior year out of Beavercreek High School...Named first team All-Area Miami Valley Baseball Coaches Association and Mizuno All-Ohio his senior year...Mike was also named to Team Ohio, a statewide all-star team chosen to play in the Sunbelt Classic, a national tournament in Norman, Okla. Team Ohio placed third in the tournament behind Texas and Georgia...Buckeye Scout lists Hauschild at the No. 29 prospect in Ohio.
